What Vesk Marketing does for a small business
You run a business of 5 to 30 people, you decide and you sign, and you have neither the budget for a full marketing team nor the time to manage one. Vesk gives you the team on a monthly plan: a senior lead who plans the work with you, and senior specialists who do it. That covers brand identity, website design, social content, email, short video, Google and Meta ad campaigns, and community management.
Work is measured in tokens. A token is a fixed unit of work, and every task has a set size that we quote before it starts. This is the menu:
- Social post, design and copy: 1 token
- Carousel of 5 slides: 2 tokens
- Email campaign: 3 tokens
- Short video, 10 to 15 seconds: 4 tokens
- Monthly content calendar: 4 tokens
- Ad campaign setup: 8 tokens
- Campaign landing page: 8 tokens
- Basic brand identity: 15 tokens
Community management (scheduling, replying and monitoring your channels) is offered too. Like every other task, it is quoted in tokens before we start.
Early access: what that means today, and what we will not promise
Vesk Marketing is in early access. The menu, the prices and the guarantee on this site are live, and you can start with a call today. What we do not have yet is a long shelf of Canadian case studies. The marketing project we show is Mittel: a brand identity, a website and a marketing strategy for a company moving from marketing agency to business agency. We would rather say that plainly than pad the page.
It is also why the first month is guaranteed. You see real work before you trust us with more of it.
We do not promise leads, sales or a return on ad spend, and you should be wary of anyone who does: results depend on your offer, your market, your price and how quickly your team follows up. We promise the part we control: senior people on the work, a size for every task before it starts, full visibility, everything in your name, and a first month refunded in full if it does not convince you, plus 8 bonus tokens.
Start from where you are
Most owners arrive at a marketing agency from one of three places, and each has a page written for it.
- You already paid for marketing and it didn't work. Read why a marketing agency isn't delivering, how to switch without losing your accounts and how to choose the next one.
- Your marketing is ten tools and a lot of copying between them. Hand it to one team that plans, makes and runs the work, with social media management and ad campaigns on the same plan. If you are weighing a part-time executive instead, read about the fractional CMO.
- Your business works, but you look like everyone else and growth has stalled. Start with the foundations: a brand identity, a website and a written strategy, described further down this page.
- You are still comparing options. Numbers first: what a marketing agency costs in Canada, including how much a small business should spend on marketing, what a website costs and in-house versus agency versus fractional CMO.
- You are in Toronto or Calgary. See the Toronto and Calgary pages.
How we build your marketing strategy
A small-business marketing strategy fits on one page, and it starts at the kickoff meeting. We write down five answers in plain words, short enough that you and your team can repeat them:
- Customer. Who buys from you, what are they trying to do and what is stopping them?
- Message. In one sentence, why should that customer pick you over the alternative, including doing nothing?
- Channels. Two or three places where those customers will see you, not ten.
- Budget. A monthly number, split between the work and the ad spend.
- Measure. One result you check each month: enquiries, bookings or new customers.
The strategy then becomes 90 days of tasks with fixed token sizes: a content calendar is 4 tokens, an ad campaign setup 8 and a campaign landing page 8. Once a month the senior lead reviews with you the one number that matters, what to stop and what to do more of. Plans usually fail from too many channels for the budget, or no named owner.
What a plan buys in a month
There are three plans, billed monthly in CAD plus GST/HST: Starter at 8 tokens for $1,010, Growth at 20 tokens for $2,120, and Scale at 40 tokens for $3,980. Unused tokens carry over to the next month, with no cap, while your membership is active.
- Starter: eight social posts, or two short videos, or one ad campaign.
- Growth: a content calendar, eight posts and two short videos.
- Scale: a basic brand identity, an ad campaign, and a month of posts and videos.
Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google or Meta, in your own ad account. It is not part of the plan. If you run out of tokens, you buy more at the plan's per-token price or move up a plan for the month.
How it works
- 1Call
Thirty minutes to see whether Vesk is the right team. If it is not, we say so.
- 2Kickoff meeting
We map how your business makes money and what to do first. Nothing is charged until the kickoff is done.
- 3Execution
You pick a plan and spend tokens on tasks. Every task, bug and token is visible in the platform, on the web and in the app. You get a monthly one-hour meeting with the senior lead, weekly when something needs to change, and the first delivery lands in week 1 after the kickoff.
Why not hire in-house or sign a traditional retainer
A digital marketing manager in Toronto costs roughly $9,500 to $11,000 CAD a month once salary, payroll costs and equipment are counted, and that is one person with one set of skills. A typical small-business agency retainer in Canada runs $2,500 to $5,000 CAD a month. Growth is $2,120 CAD and answers for the result.
Hiring is the right answer when you have enough marketing work to keep a person busy five days a week. Below that, a plan is cheaper and covers more disciplines. The full comparison is in in-house versus agency versus fractional CMO.
A Canadian contract, with a team in Mexico City
In Canada, Vesk works through APRed, its Canadian company: a Canadian contract, billed in CAD. The senior team is in Mexico City, one to two hours behind Toronto, so your meetings happen in your business hours. We do not hide where the team sits, and the work is in English.
Domains, ad accounts, social profiles and the website are in your name from day one, and you take all of it if you leave.
