The website problem, in your words
Most owners who call about a website say one of four things. The site is out of date and nobody wants to touch it. It was built years ago by someone who has since moved on. It looks fine on a laptop and badly on a phone. Or it cost real money and the login still belongs to the person who built it.
All four are fixable, and none needs a bigger budget than you think. What they need is a clear brief: who visits, what they want to know, and what you want them to do next, whether that is phoning you, booking or requesting a quote.
What a Vesk website includes
A website is a set of tasks, and every task has a size in tokens. The design and the copy are done together, so the words and the layout agree. Forms go to an inbox that you own, and the site is built to load quickly on a phone.
For a single focused page, the size is fixed: a campaign landing page is 8 tokens, which is the whole month on the Starter plan. For a multi-page site, we quote the full number of tokens before we start, based on the pages and features you need, and you approve it. There is no surprise at the end. If you want market context before you decide, what a website costs in Canada covers typical ranges.
Website design and marketing for small business, from one team
A website that nobody visits is a brochure in a drawer. Because the same team handles your site, your ad campaigns, your email and your posts, the campaign landing page can be built for the campaign. Message, offer and page match each other, and you do not carry briefs back and forth between three suppliers.
That is the route Mittel took. Vesk built their brand identity, their website and their marketing strategy as one piece of work, for their move from marketing agency to business agency.
Website redesign services: rebuilding what someone left you
If a previous vendor left you a site you cannot edit, or that you suspect is held together with patches, we start with an audit: who holds the domain and the logins, what content is worth keeping, and what traffic arrives today. Then we decide honestly between a cleanup and a rebuild. Sometimes a rebuild in weeks costs less than months of patching. We say which, even when the other answer would pay us more.
We keep the old addresses working so that visitors and search engines find the new pages, and the domain, hosting and site files end up in your name. If your login is stuck with a former agency, switching marketing agency without losing your accounts shows how to recover it.
Web design for small business in Toronto, Calgary and across Canada
Vesk works in English with small businesses across Canada. In Canada, we contract through APRed, our Canadian company, bill in CAD plus GST/HST, and keep the team in Mexico City, one to two hours behind Toronto. The meetings happen in your business hours, and we do not hide where the team sits.
What matters on a local business site is plain: your services, your service area, your hours and a phone number that is easy to tap. We put those first, then build out from there. City pages: Toronto and Calgary.
How a website project runs
- 1Call
Thirty minutes to see if Vesk is the right team for the job. If it is not, we say so.
- 2Kickoff meeting
We map how your business makes money, who visits your site and what each visitor should do. We then quote the pages in tokens. Nothing is charged until the kickoff is done.
- 3Build
The first delivery lands in week 1 after the kickoff. You review in the platform, where every task and token is visible, and we meet monthly with the senior lead, weekly when something needs to change.
- 4Launch and handover
The domain, hosting and site files are registered in your name from day one. At launch you hold every key.
What it costs
Plans start at $1,010 CAD a month plus GST/HST for 8 tokens. At Growth, $2,120 for 20 tokens, one token is about $106, so a campaign landing page of 8 tokens is worth about $850 CAD. The plan covers anything on the token menu, so you can mix a website month with posts and an ad campaign.
If a site needs more tokens than your plan holds, you buy extra at the plan's per-token price or move up a plan for the month. Unused tokens carry over, so a big build can use what you saved in earlier months.
