Cookie policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies veskgroup.com uses, which ones the site needs to work, which ones we use to measure visits in aggregate and how you can switch them off. It forms part of our Privacy policy.

In short

  • The site stores a single first-party cookie: your language.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics and Metricool) counts visits in aggregate with no advertising features. You can switch it off with your browser’s privacy signal, an add-on or by writing to us (section 2).
  • We use no advertising cookies today. Before we use any, we will update this policy and ask for your consent.
  • We respect your browser’s “Global Privacy Control” and “Do Not Track” signals.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser to remember something between pages or visits: your language or an anonymous identifier used to count visits. First-party cookies are set by veskgroup.com; third-party cookies are set by another domain whose content or code our site loads (for example, Google or Calendly).

We also use similar technologies: the browser’s local and session storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works like a cookie but is not sent to any server on its own, and cookieless trackers (scripts) that contact a provider’s server to record a visit.

2. How analytics works and how to switch it off

We measure visits with Google Analytics and Metricool to learn which pages are read and which campaigns work. These tools load when the site opens, unless you switch analytics off in any of these ways:

  • Your browser’s signal. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we load no analytics tool at all.
  • Google’s add-on. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on blocks Google Analytics on every site you visit.
  • A cookie or tracker blocker in your browser (see section 9).
  • Ask us. Write to contact@veskgroup.com and we will act on your objection.

Analytics is aggregate, uses no advertising features and is not combined with your name or your form details. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

3. Necessary cookies (always on)

These are essential to show the site in your language. They do not identify you, contain no personal information and are not shared with anyone, so they do not require consent.

NameTypePurposeDuration
vesk_langFirst-party cookieRemembers the language you chose (English or Spanish). Our content delivery network (CloudFront) reads it to serve the home page in your language.12 months
vesk.attrSession storageRecords how you reached the site in this visit (landing page, referring site and UTM campaign parameters). It is sent with your form so we know which channel works. Not shared with third parties.Until you close the tab
vesk.bookedSession storageMarks that you already booked your call in this tab, so we do not count it twice or show the calendar again.Until you close the tab

4. Analytics cookies and trackers

These tell us how many people visit the site, which pages they read, on which device and which campaign brought them, in aggregate. They load when the site opens unless you switch them off (section 2). We never use their advertising or remarketing features.

Tool and cookiesProviderPurposeDuration
Google Analytics 4 — _ga, _ga_PNVZ84D2XMGoogle LLC (United States)Assigns a random identifier to your browser to distinguish visits and sessions, and records pages viewed, time on page, device, browser, language and approximate region. Configured with Google signals and ad personalization off; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data kept for 14 months. Google’s privacy policy._ga: 2 years · _ga_…: 2 years
Metricool — cookieless trackerMetricool Software, S.L. (Spain)Counts visits in aggregate (pages viewed and source) through a script that contacts Metricool’s server. It stores no cookies or identifiers on your device; it reads your IP address during the connection. Metricool’s privacy policy.Stores nothing on your device

You can block Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Third-party services that load when you use them

Some features are provided by a third party and load only when you trigger them with a specific action. When you do, that third party may set its own cookies, governed by its policy.

ServiceWhen it loadsPurposeMore information
Calendly (Calendly LLC, United States)After you submit the call form, when the calendar appears so you can pick a timeShow availability and create the booking. It receives your name and email to prefill the form, and your visit source (UTM) so we know which channel brought you. It sets technical cookies and, depending on your Calendly settings, Calendly’s own analytics cookies.Calendly cookie notice

Links to external sites (for example, orbstudio.io or our clients’ sites) load nothing on veskgroup.com; when you click, you leave our site and the destination’s policy applies.

6. Marketing and advertising cookies

We use none today. Before we use any advertising or marketing cookie or tracker, we will update this policy and ask for your consent with a cookie notice; until you accept it, it will not load.

7. Cookies and tools we may use in the future

To be transparent from the start, this is the list of tools we are evaluating or that a business like ours typically adopts. None of them is active today. If we decide to use one, we will add it to the tables above with its real cookies and durations, update the date of this policy and, for advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking tools, it will not load until you accept it in a cookie notice.

8. Cookies on the client platform

The web console (console.veskgroup.com) and the Vesk mobile app use only strictly necessary session cookies and tokens to keep you signed in, protect you against forged requests and remember your language. They load no third-party analytics or advertising tools. These cookies are deleted when you sign out.

9. How to manage cookies

  • Privacy signals: turn on “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” in your browser (or use one that sends them by default, such as Brave or Firefox with enhanced protection) and we will not load analytics.
  • In your browser: you can view, delete or block cookies in the settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. If you block necessary cookies, the site still works but will not remember your language.
  • At Google: the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on blocks Google Analytics on every site.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever the cookies or tools we use change. The current version is always on this page with its date. If a change adds a tool that requires your consent, we will ask for it with a cookie notice before loading it.

11. Contact

Questions about cookies or your information: contact@veskgroup.com (English) · contacto@veskgroup.com (Spanish). Who is responsible for your information and how to exercise your rights is in the Privacy policy.
